Snapshot: The Year End « International Aid Services America

With Christmas just weeks away, our attention is rightly beginning to shift to family and loved ones. As we prepare for a wonderful holiday season of joy and celebration, many in the Horn of Africa are suffering through drought and famine.

Throughout the Horn of Africa, IAS is engaged in helping those in distress during this difficult period. We’re drilling wells, and we’re supplying food to those most in need. IAS remains focused on saving lives and changing hearts in this most difficult region.

As you contemplate gifts for family and friends this season, please also consider a special year-end gift to IAS America. Now more than ever, your assistance is needed and greatly appreciated.

In addition to perhaps reducing your taxable income as a charitable deduction for 2014, your Christmas gift will also make a huge impact in the efforts of IAS America. I encourage you to take a look at our online annual report to see how previous gifts have so greatly benefited the world’s poor. You can find that report by visiting and selecting ‘Annual Reports’ from the ‘Resources’ tab or by clicking here.

As you make your Christmas offering, please keep in mind that in accordance with IRS guidelines, your check or online donation ( must be postmarked or submitted prior to January 1 in order for your gift to qualify for a 2014 tax deduction.

On behalf of the IAS staff and board of directors, thank you so much for your faithfulness and partnership with our organization. May the Lord bless you and yours this Christmas season.

In gratitude –

Douglas Mann

Certainly there have been times when twists and turns took me by surprise or God’s providence opened a door that I didn’t see in front of me. […]
